Information on Opening

Fox Run Golf Course Re-Opens May 22, 2020

Fox Run Golf Course will re-open to the public on Friday, May 22, 2020 between the hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. The course will be open seven days a week, weather permitting.  Staff is currently being trained to ensure proper safety and health measures are in place for the public.

 

Booking Tee Times

  • Pro Shop will remain closed to the public until further notice. No in-person or telephone bookings will be allowed. All tee-times must be booked online, to book your tee-time visit foxrunnm.com
  • Tee times are scheduled on 15-minute intervals
  • Players are urged to not arrive at the golf course more than 15 minutes prior to their tee time and to leave the course immediately when their round is complete

 

Golf Carts & Walking

  • Walking is encouraged for your round of golf
  • The maximum number of carts per group is two, two players can utilize carts and two players must walk. The only exception to players riding together, is if they share the same household
  • Carts will be sanitized between each use and are limited to one rider per cart, unless two individuals share the same household

 

On Course Rules & Changes

  • Flag sticks must always stay in the hole
  • No water coolers will be provided until further notice
  • No pencils will be allowed in golf carts
  • All ball washers have been removed
  • All bunker rakes have been removed
  • No sand bottles will be allowed in golf carts
  • Restrooms on the golf course will be sanitized three times a day

 

Face Coverings & Other Information

  • Golfers are required to use face coverings while inside any building or interacting face to face with any staff during any transaction, whether inside or outside
  • Golfers should adhere to social distancing guidelines and remain six feet apart
  • Golf shop retail and concessions will not be available until Gallup and McKinley County move into Phase 1 of the Governor’s plan
  • The services of PGA Pro Austin Wallace are not available yet to ensure safe social distancing measures
